RecycleBot is an interactive robot that does what Captain Planet always told you to do: RECYCLE!

It makes recycling easier by sorting your bottles and cans into appropriate bins: one for plastic, one for glass, and one for metal.

RecycleBot was created by Catherine Lee '08 and Linda Fung '08 in Robotic Design Studio (CS/PHYS 115) at Wellesley College during Wintersession 2007. We would like to thank Lyn Turbak, Scott Anderson, and Robbie Berg for their instruction and advice, and El Table for supplying recyclables (and nourishment).
